Bespoke Enamel Watches
A custom piece at Deguiret is the opportunity to see your idea interpreted by our enamel artists and shaped into a cloisonné dial made exclusively for you. Each line of gold wire and each firing is developed in close dialogue, ensuring the colours, details and composition follow the vision you have in mind. The result is a genuinely unique dial, crafted with the same care and technical standards as all our timepieces.
A FIVE STEP JOURNEY
From the first conversation to the final assembly, each step adds meaning, precision and personality
YOUR VISION
Everything begins with an exchange. We take the time to listen and to understand the feelings, ideas or memories you want your watch to express. There is no direction imposed at this stage. We talk, explore possibilities, and let your intuition guide the early shapes of the project. This first conversation creates the foundation, the shared understanding that will carry the entire creation forward.

CREATIVE GUIDELINES
From this foundation we start shaping your vision. We prepare sketches, test compositions, and explore several artistic directions that could express your idea in its most authentic form. Colors begin to appear, balances are tried, and the identity of the dial starts to emerge. This step is where the creative landscape opens and where the future piece finds its first sense of structure.

DESIGN APPROVAL
Once a clear direction stands out, we translate it into a precise and final design. The dial is redrawn as an exact vector file that defines proportions, placements and harmony. At the same time, we build a full enamel palette, usually between fifteen and twenty five shades, each one tested on our dial base to understand its light, depth and reaction to fire. At this stage you see the design as it will truly be, ready to enter the world of enamel.

DIAL MAKING
The approved design then becomes a physical creation. Thin 24 karat gold wires are shaped by hand to form the structure of the dial and define the cells of each color. Layer by layer, the enamel is applied and fired, often several times, until the gradients, textures and depth fully appear. This slow and careful process gives the dial its movement, its luminosity and its unique presence once it leaves the kiln.

WATCH ASSEMBLY
The final step brings everything together in the Canton of Neuchâtel. Each component, from the movement to the case and hands, is produced in Switzerland and assembled with patience and precision. The dial is set with care, the movement is cased and every function is tested until the watch feels complete and balanced. It is the moment where the artwork becomes a functioning timepiece, ready to live on the wrist for many years to come.

This first step is a conversation. We take the time to understand what you have in mind, what moves you, and what you hope to express through your watch. There is no predefined direction. We listen, we explore ideas together, and we let your intuition guide the discussion. This is where the project begins to take shape. It is the moment where we connect, define the foundations of the piece, and open the space for a creation that reflects you fully.

Your Starting Point
Choose the approach that fits your vision whether an artistic reinterpretation from Mirror, a geometric Talisman pattern, or an oneiric Voyage composition

Voyage
Voyage opens the door to a fully original composition created from your idea or story. The dial becomes a small canvas where imagination, emotion, and enamel meet. It is suited for those who want a poetic creation that exists nowhere else.

Talisman
Talisman brings your custom piece into the world of sacred geometry. Lines, symmetry, and subtle variations of color form a calm and timeless pattern. It is the natural choice for clients drawn to harmony, symbolism, and quietly powerful designs.

Mirror
Mirror offers the possibility to transform a chosen artwork into enamel. The original piece becomes a new interpretation shaped by gold lines, depth, and color. It is a path for clients who want a dial that carries the spirit of an artwork in a refined, personal way.

What Our Collectors Say
Swiss Craftsmanship at the Core
Every custom piece begins with components selected to meet the highest Swiss standards. Clients can choose their case material and finish, whether stainless steel, gold-plated, or solid gold. Engravings can be added to the case back, crown, or buckle, and straps can be tailored in colour, texture, and stitching to match the spirit of the dial. Each element is built with the same precision as our movements, allowing your watch to become a fully personal creation, engineered to last.

Frequently asked questions
We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help answer your queries, but please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns.
What case sizes and movements are currently available for custom pieces?
As of February 2026, we work with two distinct Swiss-made architectures. Our 40 mm case is paired with a manual-winding movement based on the Peseux 7001. This architecture forms the foundation of many pieces visible in our gallery and represents our established base for cloisonné enamel commissions. We have also recently completed the development of a new 37 mm manual-winding architecture, powered by the La Joux-Perret F201. This movement and case are freshly out of production and feature an exceptional level of finishing. Visuals and technical details of both architectures are shared privately upon inquiry.
How long does a custom piece take to make?
A custom cloisonné piece usually requires 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. Projects involving additional Swiss-made components – such as solid-gold cases, custom parts, or special engravings – may extend the timeline to up to 20 weeks to ensure every element is completed with the required precision.
What is the price of a custom piece?
Prices are discussed upon inquiry, as each commission is entirely unique. The final price depends on the chosen architecture, movement, case material, finishing options, and the level of bespoke work involved. We invite collectors to contact us directly to discuss availability, feasibility, and budget alignment.
Can I choose the materials and components?
Yes. You can choose the case material (stainless steel, solid gold, tantalum,...) the finishing, engravings, strap colour and stitching, and even personalised details on the buckle or crown. All components are Swiss-made and selected to match the level of the enamel work.
Is a deposit required to start the project?
Yes. A 50% deposit is typically required to begin the design and production of your custom piece. The remaining balance is due once the watch is completed and ready for delivery.
What does the creation process look like?
We begin with a conversation to understand your idea. Several sketches are then developed, followed by the cloisonné wiring, enamel colours, firings, and final assembly in Switzerland. You receive updates at each stage so you can follow the development of your piece.
