The new 40mm GMT architecture marks a new chapter for Deguiret. The case, crown, hands and buckle were designed from scratch in Switzerland and are manufactured between La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle. Our enamel dials remain handcrafted by our team in Georgia.

A La Joux-Perret automatic movement powers a sapphire second hand and a 24-hour hand, read against cloisonné enamel markers. Titanium inserts are integrated inside all our new straps to follow the case contours precisely.

First introduced through the private series shown here, this architecture is now open for bespoke commissions for 2027.

The dial echoes our origins. Inspired by the very first Grand Feu cloisonné enamel dial ever created by Deguiret, it has been carefully reworked to suit this new 40mm format. Subtle references drawn from the YPO universe introduce notions of navigation and exploration, with a central composition that recalls the presence of a compass. Vivid colours interact with the steel case and the 24-carat gold wires of the cloisonné, creating depth and contrast.

Each dial requires 50 to 60 hours of work, with every gold wire bent by hand and the enamel built up layer by layer through six to eight firings at 850°C. Rooted in geometric Byzantine forms dating back to the 10th century, this dial carries a beauty that transcends time, independent of trends, and made to endure.

All straps are made to measure to ensure a perfect fit to the wearer’s wrist. Five alligator leather colours and three rubber colours are available. Each strap is fitted with titanium inserts, precisely shaped to match the case profile, allowing seamless integration with the watch case and eliminating any visible gap.
